Song of the Day: Too Bad Eugene - Everybody's Gone

Today’s song is from none other than Too Bad Eugene. The Santa Cruz, CA. based pop-punk band was known as the offshoot of Craig’s Brother when Adam Nigh and Andy Snyder quit the band shortly after the release of “Homecoming” and went on to start a band of their own with a unique sound. This song “Everybody’s Gone” appears on the band’s debut in 2000, “At Any Rate”, and is an emotional one for me. It’s the ultimate song of nostalgic yearning and a look back at youth.… Continued →

Letter Kills Release New Song Right Where We Belong

Letter Kills are back in a big and powerful way, dropping their brand new KILLER track titled “Right Where We Belong”. The song is available on all digital networks right now. The band recently held their first reunion show here in Orange County, CA. (I didn’t make it out, sad face) but it seems to have been a huge hit. The band has big plans for the rest of the year so stay tuned. The Myriad Rereleases Early EPs

Much loved and critically underrated indie rock band The Myriad, seems to have some new activity transpiring. The band last released the full length “With Arrows, With Poise” back in 2008 to much acclaim and fan adoration but the band’s time in the spotlight was cut short when their drummer Randy sadly passed away from cancer. The band decided to put a hold on the band and went into hibernation. Well, they are working on things and also put up 3 of their older “indie” EPs on digital networks.… Continued →
