New Mexico quintet Archabald have announced their forthcoming EP, “Carcosa” will be released July 13. Bearing the tagline “There is no hope here”, “Carcosa” showcases a decidedly heavier sound and darker lyrical themes. Along with the EP, you can read an accompanying short story by Josh Gaines (who also did the artwork). While not necessarily congruent with the EP, it carries many of the same themes and works as proper supplemental material. The band has also announced documentary material to follow upon release.
