Lately, every time I turn on the TV or get a recommended article on my phone, it’s all about hate.
Jesus did tell his disciples in Matthew 24:12 that “the love of many shall wax cold.” when they asked about the signs of His coming and the end of the world.
In response to all this hate, Jesus did tell us as His followers how to respond. Matthew 5:44 states, “But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;”
In John 13:34-35 He also states, “A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.”
Brothers and sisters, continue to pray for one another, bless one another, and love one another including your enemies.
“The way we love will be our battle cry. That’s what they’ll know us by.”
