We are getting so close to the release of the new My Epic album and this is the 3rd song from that new album, “Loriella”, due out June 28th on Tooth & Nail Records. A new band has emerged from sandy coastline of Southern California with a mission to share their own unique blend of positive, hope filled rock n’ roll that’ll chase away the despair and fill one with passion. I have nothing but absolute good things to say about My Epic and the beauty of the music they create. This new song really hits me deep in the chest and is a beautiful testament to not only talent, singing, songwriting, and all that but also to the power of words and swaying of notes. Five Iron Frenzy are adding some exciting “Old School Set” shows around the country celebrating the band’s rich past and fun, sometimes goofy, nature. The band just announced 2 more shows for the old school sets and they are happening right here in Southern California this August. First show is on August 9th at The Observatory in Santa Ana, CA. and the 2nd show is at House Of Blues in San Diego. Both shows will feature Craig’s Brother and The Ruffolos. Noise Ratchet have announced their reunion by being added to the Furnace Fest 2024 lineup and they’ve also teased the vinyl re-release of their now classic album, “Till We Have Faces”, originally released by The Militia Group in 2002. The band would go on to record and release a follow up EP for The Militia Group before departing for a major and recording their ill fated full length with Rick Rubin which was shelved and has been in the vault ever since. In 2004, I released the greatest EP that very little people got a chance to hear. MySpace didn’t have a big enough reach and I was a nobody from Orange County with Indie Vision Music, trying to play with the big boys. This band – Pennylane, deserved worldwide acclaim and their live shows plus studio performances were a testament to that endearing appeal of music and message. In case you didn’t know, the band for KING & COUNTRY along with Kingdom Story Company have put together a great new small film called “Unsung Hero” that does an incredible job at honoring family and lifting up those around us.
