I have nothing but absolute good things to say about My Epic and the beauty of the music they create. This new song really hits me deep in the chest and is a beautiful testament to not only talent, singing, songwriting, and all that but also to the power of words and swaying of notes. Five Iron Frenzy are adding some exciting “Old School Set” shows around the country celebrating the band’s rich past and fun, sometimes goofy, nature. The band just announced 2 more shows for the old school sets and they are happening right here in Southern California this August. First show is on August 9th at The Observatory in Santa Ana, CA. and the 2nd show is at House Of Blues in San Diego. Both shows will feature Craig’s Brother and The Ruffolos. Noise Ratchet have announced their reunion by being added to the Furnace Fest 2024 lineup and they’ve also teased the vinyl re-release of their now classic album, “Till We Have Faces”, originally released by The Militia Group in 2002. The band would go on to record and release a follow up EP for The Militia Group before departing for a major and recording their ill fated full length with Rick Rubin which was shelved and has been in the vault ever since. MySpace didn’t have a big enough reach and I was a nobody from Orange County with Indie Vision Music, trying to play with the big boys. This band – Pennylane, deserved worldwide acclaim and their live shows plus studio performances were a testament to that endearing appeal of music and message.
