Death Requisite Loses Member, Begins Working on New Material

The symphonic death metal band, Death Requisite has some upsetting news but also some equally exciting news, which I suppose equals everything out. On July 14, the band announced the departure of the band’s singer, Vincent St. James, after 4 years of being apart of the band. James was on the band’s most recent album and Rottweiler Records’ debut Revisitation. The two split ways on friendly terms. On July 31, the band would also announce they were writing new material. August Burns Red announces "Phantom Anthem" and Track Listing, Release New Video

Metalcore act August Burns Red have released their debut single off of their new upcoming album, Phantom Anthem, titled “Invisible Enemy”. The band has released a music video for it, made with puppets of all things. The album is slated to be released through Fearless Records on October 6, 2017. The track listing is:

Times of Grace start Recording for Sophomore album

Times of Grace, the metalcore side project of Killswitch Engage, have begun working on their sophomore album. Jesse Leach, the vocalist of the project, has begun demoing vocals out for their next endeavor. Many people thought of Killswitch Engage as a Christian act, which it is not, but if fans of that band are looking for a more faith centered project, Times of Grace is your band. Love & Death recording for New Album

Love & Death, the nu-metal band, have finally started working on new music. And just as I discovered that J.R. Bareis has left Islander, alongside the other two non-original members of Islander, they have begun guitar tracking with ex-Red, current Breaking Benjamin guitarist Jasen Rauch. The band currently consists of Brian Welch on vocals, J.R. on guitars and Dan Johnson on drums. Bassist Michael Valentine departed last year, without any official reason. Bareis and Rauch have begun recording guitars for the album.

To Live As Sons, the new spirit filled hardcore band from Pennsylvania, has announced a new track titled “Get the Horizon” being released on Friends Volume 3. Slechtvalk drummer to leave band

The black metal band, Slechtvalk has announced that their drummer, Grimbold, or his real name Jan-Paul Lucas, is to depart the band. The band stated that his departure did not come as a surprise, due to lack of motivation. There seems to be no ill will towards him and the band even thanked Grimbold for the last 15 years of his contributions for the band. The band is currently looking for a replacement for Grimbold. The band plans to record a new album and perform a couple of tours by next year.… Continued →

Vagabonds signs with Blood & Ink Records, release Music Video

The post hardcore band Vagabonds has signed to Blood & Ink Records. The project formed August of 2013, and have released a split EP, and a single independently. The project is run by Luke Dean, who does everything within the band. Vagabonds is preparing to release their debut album, I Don’t Know What To Do Now, on June 30th. Pre-orders are available now. Hand of Fire - The Prophecy

California Thrash band Hand of Fire has a new music video for y’all to see! The song is called “The Prophecy” and it is brutal. It brings the sound of old school thrash, much like Slayer or Metallica, with the vocals of Death Angel. The track is going to be apart of their upcoming debut album, titled Let the Killings Begin, coming out through Rottweiler Records.

Nosral Recordings (Rottweiler Records) announces New Signing

The new subsidiary label for Rottweiler Records, Nosral Recordings has announced the signing of their first band! Nosral started only days ago, and have already signed their first band, Ascending King. Ascending King is an unblack metal band that was affiliated with SkyBurnsBlack Recordings. The band is working on a new EP for release this summer. Be on the lookout for more signings from this label.

Hortor to release new album "Dharma Esencia de Impureza"

The unblack metal band Hortor has a new album coming out. Though you probably never of the spanish speaking metal band, they’ve been around for years. Since 2004, the band has been releasing new material, the most recent in 2013, Dios de dioses. The new album will be called Dharma Essence of Impurity or Dharma Esencia de Impureza and it will most like be released independently. Check these guys out!

Symphony of Heaven releases "Stratagem" Lyric Video

Symphony of Heaven, the symphonic death metal project from Owensville, IN, has a new lyric video up for their song “Stratagem”. The project started earlier this year, and has released two songs, with an EP coming soon. I recently did an interview with the brainchild of the project, Logan Thompson.
