Acceptance is a pop punk band from Washington state. I remember their song Different on mainstream radio back when emo ruled the airwaves in the early to mid 2000s. They had originally broke up in 2006, but reunited in 2017 & released albums on the label that I have always wanted to work for: Tooth & Nail. Ignescent is a female fronted modern rock band from Chi-town. Their first album was produced by Wyrick in 2008 who had headed up Rugged Records back in the day & released a couple of sweet industrial tinged LPs. Since then, the band has released a bunch more stuff including Remnants which just found its way onto mainstream radio as of 3/31 the day I am writing this. They remind me of older Fireflight. Last Tuesday (pop punk) & The Alarm (new wave) hail from 2 different decades, but have great renditions of The Stand which was inspired by the Stephen King novel of the same name. Believer is a Pennsylvanian 4 piece technical thrash metal band. Forming in 1985 they changed their name from Deceiver. I remember buying their Sanity Obscure LP in my hometown of Normal, Illinois & then later getting a cassette tape of Dimensions. I mean seriously, this band has released 4 full lengths (with 1 on the way), 3 EPs, and 1 Covers Ep plus stuff they may have done independently, all the while slipping under most people’s radars.
