These girls are a serious powerhouse and force to be reckoned with, as anyone familiar with them can firmly attest to. In the nicest way possible I have to agree to an extent. I love the music, but the imagery presented is still a bit on the more provocative side. Maybe its because I’m getting older and have kids of my own, but I wouldn’t be completely comfortable attending a concert of this nature, especially with them. Without naming names, there are a few other recent Christian bands and vocalists that I feel the same way about.
On the flip side, an example of a rock band that has always seemed to find a great balance in this category is Fireflight.
This group of ladies have been blessed by the Lord with the talents they have to use for His service. It appears that they are using a “gimmick”, but one shouldn’t need a “gimmick” when serving God. It presents a double standard. Matthew 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. I am not starting a debate, I am simply stating truth that is the word of God.
I watched only a portion of this video and all I can think of is verse 1 Timothy 2:9 In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;
