Adjy have returned from a three-year slumber to release a new two-part single that celebrates the summer solstice, the freedom youth, and the uncertainty of what is yet to come. The two tracks are just shy of ten minutes long, though other press has hinted at this being part of a much larger work to come from the collective.
Adjy is strangely known for their lack of social media – even so, they’ve managed to amass a substantial following with several thousand monthly listeners on Spotify. Musically, Adjy has a strong blend of percussive experimental pop similar to bands like Anathallo. There’s no great way to keep tabs on what they’ll do next, but needless to say, you’ll hear about it when it happens.
