Anberlin which broke up in 2014, has stayed relatively busy behind the scenes with producing an incredible (that I wished I owned) Vinyl box set featuring all 7 full length releases along with a coffee table book. As was expected, the vinyl box set sold out a few months after going on sale, all 1000 copies sold out. Sellers across third party sites are marking these things up double and triple from what they originally went on sale at. It’s crazy. I waited too late personally and due to unforeseen circumstances wasn’t able to purchase when it was on sale. All is good though because the band just announced that they are considering re-pressing the “Help Yourself” vinyl bundle and will make it unique because the first pressing was one of a kind. This pressing as can be seen below, will be in white and feature unique packaging. If enough fans show interest, this pressing will happen. In other news, former frontman Stephen Christian has a solo record coming out in early 2017 on BEC Recordings. Get pumped!

Speaking of Anberlin, if you are curious to know what happened to the rest of the band:
Guitarist Joseph McMilligan is producing at Orb Studios in Austin, TX and releasing music under the name Sins.
Bassist Deon Rexroat started a new band with Christian McAlhaney called Loose Talk.
Guitarist Christian McAlhaney in addition to starting Loose Talk is in the newly reunited band Acceptance.
Drummer Nathan Young started King State Coffee in his home state of Florida and is a member of the band Carrollhood.
Yes, thank you. Sorry for not including that in my original post 😉
Did anyone end up getting one the first pressings? I would love to have Anberlin’s discography on vinyl, but I wasn’t willing to shell out that kind of money for it. If they made a slimmer version for the second pressing at a lower cost I might consider it.
Yep, I grabbed the first pressing.
