One of the most promising up and coming indie rock/post hardcore bands, DENS, release brand new single titled “Will You Keep Out All The Sadness”. The song is available on all digital networks today and you can stream it below in lyric video format. Between this and new My Epic, 2018 is already shaping up to be an amazing start of the year.
So much of our lives is earmarked with struggle, both internal to our own minds and hearts as well as the external tensions that beat us down. This struggle is manifested in our relationships, internal dissonance, and the feelings of alienation we run to as a means of coping with the pain. Having the intellectual comprehension of what is right and good does not always translate to doing what we ought to do. Sometimes, if we’re honest, we even find that we fight the creator’s desire kicking and screaming only to find that “going our own way” leaves us drowning.
Our new single “Will You Keep Out All the Sadness?” is a reflection on this tension and a statement that, if we give in to God’s will, we will find ourselves drowning in grace rather than the devices resulting from our rebellion. We hope you resonate with it!
This is another great song from the boys, up there with ‘Seasplitter’ and ‘Warender’! Can’t wait to here what else they have in store for us this year.
