In a statement released yesterday, Disciple announced their signing with Tooth & Nail Records. The band re-enters the studio to begin to begin recording the followup to “Long Live the Rebels” next month.

Sounds to me like they were still an “independent” band working closely with Tooth & Nail, and this is just an official announcement.
