Grave Declaration, the death metal side-project of the great and powerful Antestor, has finally begun the recording of their sophomore album after the successful album, When Dying Souls Scream Praise. The band began in 2006 as a project of Thor Georg Buer, a former member of Antestor. The band has been slow going for the last few years, but it seems they have finally begun the recording of their sophomore album, hopefully to be out by this year. Since Antestor seems to be on an unofficial hiatus, the Vocalist of both bands, Ronny Hansen, has had more time for GD.

One thing is for sure: Thor won’t let anything come out until it’s done and done well. Quality friend with quality control!
So glad i found GD. Though to this day, im not sure how i found them……oh well. Glad i did. I always go to them over ALOT of other stuff. Simply good stuff.
Amazing band but unless they’ve really switched styles they’re (un)black metal. Dying Souls was very symphonic, though Thor said this one would be different. I’m curious about the change in vocals. Loved Thor’s vocals. I don’t want this to sound like Antestor 2. This band and the last album stand on their own.
Would be cool to have they and Shadows of Paragon finish their albums this year. Two of the best. Hopefully they’ll turn out better than the good but not amazing Crimson moonlight from last year.
