Pittsburgh’s Second to Safety are a high-energy act known for complex, mathy dual-guitar melodies, catchy choruses, an indomitable rhythm section, and conceptual lyrics derived largely from philosophy.
The band is on the cusp of releasing their second full-length at the end of the month. “Esther” is a conceptual album about entropy and redemption and will boast nine tracks of a variety of styles, though a bulk of it borders between punk, indie, and pop-punk with plenty of fun and catchy moments.
Check out “To Be Beautiful” below – it’s the album’s first single and will give you a good idea of what this band has to offer.
