I’m absolutely blown away by this new album from Light The Way that is most definitely going to be a sure fire hit, bound to breathe new life and a new fervor into pop-punk. The most “Christian” thing I’ve heard lyrically from a rag tag group of mostly unknown punk rockers in years, and I mean that in not so subtle terms. When in this current age of darkness, cynicism, despair, and hopelessness, to hear a group of gentlemen compose songs like this with such an honest, earnest take is nothing short of exceptional. From the opening beats and chords of track 1, weaving on through the hills and valleys of every single beautiful note felt throughout these 11 songs, all I can say is that this band will be whispered on the lips of every music fan across the globe. This isn’t an album to take lightly and not one that’ll be easily forgotten. This is the perfect album to release now, right here in 2024 and I’m so excited for you all to hear it soon. There is nothing, I mean NOTHING offensive about this record but everything true, spiritually pleasing, and pointing listeners toward a hope found in Jesus that will ultimately set you free. The thing I like about real underground music is that there is a certain freedom in the production of songs like these and that honesty encourages legitimacy. This is the most legitimate pop-punk record from a group of Christian guys, made in a long time. Dare I say, “Spirit Filled Pop-Punk”. Can we make that a thing?
