It’s so good to see and hear from Dallas Taylor on this new song, “Burn The Witches”. Once again, Dallas returns to his rightful place, fronting one of the finest metal/rock bands around – Maylene and the Sons of Disaster. Many wondered if he’d ever recover from his tragic accident but here he is bursting out from the studio and soon from the stage at Furnace Fest in a few weeks. Check out the new song and music video for “Burn The Witches”, below. You can also read what Dallas had to say about the new song below as well.
“It is Finally here. I was never suppose to survive my accident much less be able to do something like this. I hope you all can see my heart in this song, and what I’ve been through. All I can say is there is a God that is very real, and loves us greatly even in our worst times.” – Dallas Taylor (via Facebook)
I really liked this song, the whole thing kept me guessing musically. I typically come back to this band for the catchy hooks and choruses so I hope there’s some of those to come, but the intensity makes sense after Dallas’ accident.
Be careful there is an f-bomb in this song
I see that now. With everything Dallas has been through I’m sure that’s his way of communicating his rage and ultimately finding hope through it all.
