MxPx have finally unveiled the first new song from their upcoming new 10th studio album, “MxPx”. This beautifully filmed music video and extremely catchy new song can be heard below. Mid-Life punk rock takes on new meaning and brings to the forefront all those fresh memories from years ago that were bubbling just beneath the surface. The nostalgia runs deep in this song and video and I think us as fans couldn’t have asked for a better first single. “Let’s Ride” is not only the perfect introduction to a band who have had so many trials during their run but also a reintroduction to a band you might have gave up on after their first decade. Seriously, check this out and run through the past with your arms wide open. Let’s ride.
MXPX Releases 10th Studio Album – “MxPx”
BREMERTON – After celebrating 25 Years as a group, selling more than 3 Million records over their career & relentlessly touring throughout the world, MxPx brings it back to where it all began, producing this 10th full length effort in their hometown of Bremerton, Washington.
“Self-producing MxPx reminded me of how we used to make music,” says guitarist Tom Wisniewski. “A bunch of guys in a small room, banging out loud & fast songs, trying to outdo each other & come up with ‘that’ part or change that would make the song better.”
Lead Singer & Producer Mike Herrera says of the album, “I think you’ll get the feeling of nostalgia, gratitude, & just overall positive vibes when you hear ANY track on this new record.”
“Let’s Ride” is a reflection on “how memories & doubts are formed”, all told through a series of triumphs, trials, & Misfires. The hooky, instantly-accessible track is signature MxPx.
This will be “that song” from 2018 you will always remember where you were the first time you heard it.

Mike herrera renuncio al cristianismo es ateoo mxpx segira sindo conocida ke es una banda punk cristiano aunke ese hueevon del mike herrera niege ahoraa papa jesus tenga misericordia de el
1. Wats the rel date? 2. Is mike the only 1 who fel off n renounced Christianity? If the rest of the band did the same also, i dont c y they shud keep getin coverage on here. 3. Is that 4th tourin guitarist an oficial perm memba of the band now? If so, wats his name?
Mike didn’t renounce Christianity, per se, he said he no longer believed exactly in the God of the Bible as specifically taught by the church. No one else in the band has since made any comment on their faith/lack of faith recently.
The second guitar player is Chris Adkins who joined the band 2 years ago.
“Ben”, thats intrestin. Thanx 4 the “inside info”.
I vote for continued coverage. I’m not sure if anyone in this band is still a believer, but they have been so integral to even the idea of Christian punk, and if this is anything like Plans Within Plans, their music is still incredibly encouraging. It’s not like an Underoath situation where the band’s current lack of faith seems integral to their identity (seems like it’s even in Underoath’s press release). It’s certainly not being flaunted. I mean, if it ever is, drop coverage, but as it stands, I think it should be kept.
Also, this song rules.
Nicholas, I couldn’t have said it any better. Thank you friend
