Pennsylvania-based metalcore band My Heart to Fear is planning on releasing their third LP titled Violent Hallucination on Luxor Records this coming winter. The album features a stripped metal sound of just guitars, bass, drums, and vocals. “The goal was to have a record that we can play live exactly how it sounds on the album,” Frontman Trevor Pool says.
Violent Hallucination is an 11 track story-based concept album that will also feature specific artwork for each track. The artwork will be available in digital and physical editions – including vinyl. The band is also gearing up to return to a busy touring schedule in the coming year.
As part of a Facebook wager, MHTF posted a video of Pool screaming the entirety of the fan favorite “The Witching Hour” while decked out in Christmas gear.
I’m really excited to see how this project pans out! As a big fan of symphonics and electronics in music, I’m a little sad it’s so stripped down BUT it could be pretty refreshing all the same. I kind of forgot about these guys so I’m excited to come back with fresh ears.
Yes!!!
Dude I’m excited too!
Ooooohhh, I was wondering if they were still doing stuff! The last EP they released was one of my favorite records to play that summer.
