Nebraska/Iowa based Post-Hardcore/Old School Emo band Names Without Numbers, have made their return known. The band has played quite a few shows this year including a recent gig with Stryper. Names Without Numbers has a show on December 11th with Spoken and Dayshell in Omaha, Nebraska at Lookout Lounge (see flyer below). The band formed in 2000 and has played a distinct blend of (old school) emo and fiery post-hardcore mixed with a special blend of alt rock for good measure. Their sound is unique and all their own. The band last released “Running Marathons / Chasing Ambulances” in 2003 and called it quits in 2006. I’m happy to report that the band is back and will sound better than ever. Watch a special sneak peek at one of their new songs below. You can download their 2003 full length for free right here (or listen below). Awesome! Just found “Running Marathons / Chasing Ambulances” at a Half Price Books a month ago. Always like their sound.
That video is certainly very promising!
This band has always been incredible. Can’t wait for their official recorded comeback album!
