Nate Parrish (Guitarist for Kutless) embarks on a glorious, adrenaline filled, punk rock journey. Complete with soaring choruses and hard charging punk rock rhythms. It’s like if Mike Ness and Social D intertwined with Brian and The Gaslight Anthem while sitting at lunch with Face to Face, Bruce Springsteen, and Rise Against. It’s an interesting combo that definitely makes sense and this sound is something that not only appeals to me but should with many of you. It’s a classic yet current sound and hits hard in the gut with relevant lyrics tied to the world we live in today. Seriously give this a listen when “I’m a Wreck” hits stores June 19th 2020. Listen to the songs, “I’m a Wreck”, and “Monsters”, below.

Kutless guitarist Nate Parrish to release solo album
“Wear it low, strum it fast and tell it like it is”.
This attitude is at the core of Nate Parrish’s debit solo album set for release June 19, 2020. The album, titled “I’M A WRECK”, is 10 songs of straightforward punk rock reminiscent of classic sounds such as Ramones, Social Distortion and The Replacements, while also sampling flavors of modern pop punk bands such as Blink 182.
“I had so much frustration, sorrow and flat out anger built up in my heart, that writing this album has served as a kind of therapy for me”, Nate says, adding, “My approach to writing these songs was to keep the instrumentation simple and the messaging intentional. I needed to address issues of love, loss and societal injustices, while still believing there’s hope in the midst of it all”.
I’M A WRECK will be available on all digital platforms June 19, 2020 and physical copies are available now for pre order at www.nateparrish.com

i like this. sounds really good. a little pricey though for what you get in the pre-order. Kutless I heard is heading back into the studio with one of the guys from Disciple producing. Said to be a return to more rockin Kutless
This is a nice surprise, I really liked Hearts of the Innocent and To Know That You’re Alive, and the guitar work was definitely a big part of why. Listening to this it’s a lot softer than “Wear it low, strum it fast” led me to believe, but the album art should have been my clue. I like it though!
Sounds like mxpx
Wait till you hear the other songs. Another one, Hope, goes up tonight on YouTube!
Ok, now how bout a kutless update, lol.
