Orion Wash who is a prolific singer-songwriter that has been pushing his delightful “solo” work for nearly 2 decades ever since the demise of the beloved emo/indie band – Slow Coming Day. While Slow Coming Day gears up for some reunion gigs in celebration of the 20th anniversary of “Farewell to the Familiar” which released on Tooth & Nail Records all the back in 2003, Orion is smack dab back in what he is admired for, as a creator of music that defies genre classifications. This new song titled “Home to You” is without a doubt his strongest song of the past couple of years. It is sentimental, it is nostalgic, and it generates a multitude of emotions that leads a listener to reminisce about the passing of time and yearning for that joy we all find coming back home. Listen to the song below and make sure to stream it on your own through your digital network of choice. Don’t forget to check out the reunion of Slow Coming Day in Orange County, CA. in December with Watashi Wa and Jon Caro of Stairwell.
