I am proud to present the first demo recording by new band The Prettybads titled “Maybe I’m Not The One You Wanted”. This is a rough demo of a song that will appear on the band’s debut due out this year on their new label home – Thumper Punk Records. This female fronted punk rock band would appeal to fans of The Distillers, Ramones, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, Blaster the Rocketman, Huntingtons, and Halo Friendlies. Recording new full-length album
January 16, 2018, Santa Cruz, California. Thumper Punk Records is stoked to announce the addition of Houston, Texas, based punk band The Prettybads to its evolving line-up. The Prettybads start from a base of Ramones-esque three chord punk, then layer on top their own unique sci-fi, doowop, surf, horror, and bubble gum pop influences. Fans of Blaster The Rocketman will love The Prettybads. The band is currently preparing to record their full-length debut album for release in the summer of 2018. Their current demo of “Maybe I’m Not The One You Wanted” is available for streaming and free download hosted by IndieVisionMusic right here.
The Prettybads feature Kayla Prettybad (vocals, guitars), Jordan Prettybad (drums), Ben Bravo (keyboards). You can learn more information about the band at:

Fun music, great voice, can’t wait to hear the studio version.
Straight up Donnas style punk. Pretty sweet.
Dang it Shawn, THAT is the comparison that completely slipped my mind 😉 The Donnas are a perfect comparison. I agree, this a great band and I can imagine the studio versions are going to blow everyone away
I think the distillers is a bad comparison…. this has hints of bad cop bad cop, and a clear influence of The Donnas – cool stuff though.
Maybe but I can’t argue with the awesomeness of Bad Cop Bad Cop and The Donnas. Forgot all about those two
Sounding good!!!
