RED have just launched a large donation based campaign to fund the release of their next studio effort. Check out the campaign right here via GoFundMe and watch the video below. As of date of this post they’ve raised $45k of a $100k goal. This will be an independent release (so far). It appears thus far that this campaign will be a bit different than other campaigns on sites such as Kickstarter, IndieGoGo, Pledge Music, etc. in that you may not receive any “perks”. More to come.
RED Launch Large Campaign to Fund Their New Album

100K?! I guess they are used to that big label money. I can’t believe there are no perks. I would be miffed if this was a band I liked. I just can’t get over that amount, with no breakdown of where the money is going, and with absolutely nothing given in return outside of the promise that “you’ll get more Red.” Crazy.
Wat “nicolas” sed. Sounds shady+ wierd. I havent realy liked much of ther recent stuf anyway, but then the dum “sia” cova made me dislike that last album even mor. Im not shure y a so called “Christian” band wud feel the need 2 cova/ promote secula top 40 crap. Altho it didnt realy shok me since they did “ordinary world” on ther 2nd album.
