Skip Brooks who is a long time member of our little music scene has unfortunately received devastating news, that he has stage 4 squamous cell carcinoma. On top of the cancer treatments, he is having to deal with heart related issues as well. A bright spot in this story is that the Doctors believe he can make a full recovery after the surgeries and cancer treatments. As you may know hospital visits, treatments, dr visits, surgeries, etc are not cheap in any way. If you could consider supporting his family during this difficult time, then click here for the YouCaring page. 2Minute Minor and ZAP Records have come together to support the family as well with a special Tshirt that says “ZAP Cancer”. All proceeds will go towards Skip and his family. Order the tshirt right here. Every little bit helps.

Also, all proceeds from the purchase of digital downloads at the Zap! Records bandcamp page of Our Corpse Destroyed “Strength to Strength” and “Avenge Your City” as well as Crush the Enemy’s “Undisputed Heavyweight Champions” will go to Skip and his family. https://zaprecords.bandcamp.com/
OCD is so stinking good. Didn’t know about Crush the Enemy until I saw Zap posted it so I’m looking forward to getting familiar with it.
15 years ago I rededicated my life to Christ during an Our Corpse Destroyed show when the music stopped and Skip started preaching. I am so thankful for their witness, the new life I continue to live, and the ministry God has allowed me to take part in over these years. No doubt there are very many with a similar story of how Skip and the bands he has been in (extra scene points if anyone has heard of Kapsized) have touched their lives.
