Prepare to feel old. After reading Brandon’s feature “The Best of 2008: 10 Years, A Look Back” a few weeks ago I’ve been digging through my music collection looking for more albums celebrating their 10 year anniversary only to realize 2008 was a great year for music! Which made me decide it’s time we give some of these great albums from the past the recognition they deserve. So naturally I hijacked the popular hashtag #ThrowbackThursday to bring you a new feature that celebrates the anniversaries of some classic albums. So without further ado I give you one of 2008’s best albums: The End is Not the End by House of Heroes. Believe it or not this album was released on September 23, 2008 and turns 10 this Sunday! Whether this is the first time you’ve heard of this album or the 10,000 time you’ve spun this record you can give it a listen on Spotify below–or you know, dig the CD out of your closet. And once you’ve give it a listen check out the IVM review of the album from 2008 and let us know how well The End is Not the End has held up the 9.5 out of 10 rating it was given!
