Tourniquet re-forming with original members!

By in News | No Comments

In the “I never thought that would happen” news department, original members of Tourniquet have reformed the band (sans drummer/composer Ted Kirkpatrick, RIP) recently for a few shows. They had previously been performing as Stop the Bleeding, and have recently announced plans to use the original band name. I reached out to members for comment, but they’re not giving much away right now in terms of future plans.

They are, however, playing a few upcoming shows of note, with one in Sweden in March and one in Versailles, OH at the BMI Center (home of Immortal Fest). In addition to members Guy Ritter, Gary Lenaire, and Luke Easter, the vacant drum throne is being filled by David Husvik (of Extol, Azusa) for the Sweden date, and Devin Chaulk (ex-Haste the Day) for the Ohio date.

What does the future hold–can we expect new music anytime soon? While the band are being a little secretive, here’s hoping!
