I wasn’t expecting to enjoy this new Wolves At The Gate covers album titled “Lost In Translation” but I sure do. It’s really done with the best production and sound you can get. Their take on many of these classic songs is nothing short of extraordinary. I’d go as far to say that some of these songs have been reinvented with a new fervor courtesy of Wolves At The Gate. I was expecting the Jimmy Eat World cover for “Sweetness” to pale in comparison to the real thing but surprisingly it’s the complete opposite and same goes for “The Pretender”, “Pardon Me”, “Heathens”, and “Breaking the Habit”. “Attack” is great too! Make sure to give it a listen wherever your stream/download music and pick it up on physical media from the Solid State Records store right here.

I agree! This album came out amazingly! They took songs that I listened to years ago, before I knew the Lord, and made them into declarations of faith, which is by itself really cool. However, they did so while bringing new power and crispness to the music as well. Hopefully some of these will make it into their live rotation, because they did a fantastic job of making the tracks their own.
