The Beautiful Mistake return with their first new song in over 15 years. The electrifying new song titled “Memento Mori” takes the band in familiar territory while incorporating a completely current sound. The production is crisp and clear and the vocals are presented front and center. There is a heavy emphasis on melody here and a sense of heaviness intertwines throughout. I had never really listed to this band before. I like this song and went back to listen to some of their older stuff and I liked it as well. I’ll definitely check this release out.
