Someone has posted the rare track “Heatherwood” by Underoath, up on YouTube. This comes from the sessions that would later become “They’re Only Chasing Safety”. It’s essentially a demo and with Dallas Taylor on Vocals instead of Spencer. The song got reworked later and became “Reinventing Your Exit”, their now classic hit song. I like it! like the album version as well, but it is cool to hear the raw beginnings of the song.
Really cool to hear this demo, I instinctively want to sing along but it just isn’t the same haha
Intrestin.
I’d definitely say Reinventing Your Exit is a more complete song, but this is still a fun trip back.
