Song of the Day: Midnight Orchestra - Chaos

This year’s last SOTD post from me is from a project that can be very hard to determine which genre it falls into. Helmed by Mick Rowe, brother of Jamie from Guardian/Kalamity Kills and who also worked with the arena rock band Tempest, Mick wanted to work a project that would be different than all else. Both LPs Land of Nod & Digital Saviour have elements of goth, hip hop, rock and pop. CCM rock & rhythmic radio shows picked up a few songs including God, I’m a Lie, War Dance & The Cage.… Continued →

Song of the Day: Judean Radiostatic - Travelling the Path of Flux

So I’ve been on an industrial kick lately. The following site is a great tool to find out more on the subject complete with tons of artists who have delved into the sub-genres: https://web.archive.org/web/20110915162856/http://automatapedia.com/index.php?title=All_Bands .  Anyways, Judean Radiostatic is my pick this time around. I have a great team of skilled writers on the webzine side that work so hard to keep you all updated and filled with inspiring content.… Continued →

Names Without Numbers to Drop 20th Anniversary Edition of Debut EP on July 3rd

Two special things are happening next month, the 20th anniversary of Indie Vision Music and the 20th anniversary re-release of the debut EP from my pals in Names Without Numbers! This 20th anniversary edition re-release features re-imagined artwork, and a remastered version of all 5 songs found on the EP. Available digitally and possibly on Vinyl. It is a beautiful snapshot of a particular time in music history. This band at that time filled the void between early bands like Jimmy Eat World, The Juliana Theory, Thursday, Further Seems Forever, Taking Back Sunday, and Brandtson.… Continued →
