JCHC FEST Venue, Date, and Lineup Announcement

It’s official! JCHC FEST will take place on April 5th 2025 at famed The Glasshouse in Pomona, CA. The full lineup includes Officer Negative and No Innocent Victim, along with The Deal, Headnoise, TAKE, Richie The Barber, Absolved, Barriers, Destroy Nate Allen, GratitudeTX, Infirmities, NO TREATY, XDoulosX, and Zippy Josh & The Ragtag Band. This event does appear to be a one day only show so you’ll want to buy those tickets soon. Thumper Punk Turns 10!

I’d just like to send out a special congratulations to David who runs Thumper Punk for reaching the 10 year milestone. I remember hooking up with the label back near the beginning and during our last complete site overhaul. A lot of great punk stuff has come out of this label in the past 10 years some of which many of you probably didn’t know existed. New 3 Song Acoustic Ep From Jimmy Sisco (Absolved / Platoon 1107)

Today is the release of Jimmy Sisco’s contribution to the 3 Song Acoustic EP series. As the singer/guitarist/songwriter for ABSOLVED and Platoon 1107, Jimmy has released some of the biggest, most aggressive music on Thumper Punk Records. For his 3 Song Acoustic EP, the music is delicate, balanced and soulful, with one track of 70s era folk and two readings of Old Testament scripture over ambient backgrounds. The first song “Son of the Wind” was written by country-western artist Jim Sisco, Sr., in 1970, and recorded by his son Jimmy in the days prior to his father’s death from cancer.… Continued →
