The Prayer Chain Announce Reunion Shows and Launch Kickstarter

Beloved Southern California indie rock legends – The Prayer Chain, have announced 3 reunion shows along with a kickstarter to fund a re-release of the original “Mercury” recording which will be titled “Communion”. This is the 30th anniversary of that ground breaking final album they released all the way back in 1995. Stop the Bleeding (ex-Tourniquet members) has announced 2 new shows!

In the “I never thought that would happen” news department, official members of Tourniquet have reformed the band (sans drummer/composer Ted Kirkpatrick, RIP) recently for a few shows. Guy Ritter, Gary Lenaire, and Luke Easter are all currently performing together as Stop the Bleeding, as they don’t currently have legal rights to use “Tourniquet.” While not much is known about future plans, (and the band is being somewhat secretive) they are, however, playing a few upcoming shows of note. They’ll be playing in Sweden in March (with Extol’s David Husvik filling in on drums) and one in Versailles, OH at home of Immortal Fest, BMI Center, (with former Haste the Day drummer Devin Chaulk filling in).… Continued →

Blank Pages Return

An independent pop-punk band that I had connected with 5 years ago is BACK! The band Blank Pages last released their “Self Titled” EP in 2011 which spawned a few “singles”. The band played for a few years following the release of their Ep then went on hiatus for 3 years. Now they are back and have a new single which you can view below. Look for a new release soon.
