Craig’s Brother just released one of their strongest songs since “Follow Your Heart”. This one is my favorite of the new stuff alongside Terrible Slave of course. It has that classic CB feel and adds a certain metallic guitar moment (even a solo), mid-way through the song. The music just flows so well and lyrically is as sharp as ever. Like their (mostly) unreleased song “Crutch”, there is a slight curse word which might turn off the grandparents, but it is fairly mild, just some excrement tossed around 😉 Check out “Superhero” below.… Continued →

Craig’s Brother have just released their brand new song titled “Terrible Slave” to all digital networks and streaming sites. The song appears on the band’s upcoming album “Easily Won, Rarely Deserved” due out November 11th on People of Punk Rock Records. This is the FIRST new song released from the band’s 4th full length record and the other songs released prior to this are stand alone tracks released as a “Self Titled” ep earlier this year. Ted Bond (Lead Vocalist/Guitarist/songwriter for the band Craig’s Brother), his wife, and their children, have been displaced by the recent wildfires in Northern California and are unable to return home. They’ve had to evacuate and will not be allowed to return for some time. Basically they are homeless and just living day by day. CB guitarist and songwriter, Steven Neufeld, has started a Go Fund Me just to help Ted and Family get by during these difficult times. A lot of families are struggling through not only the pandemic, but also loss of work and income as a result and add to the mess of 2020 with these wildfires and you just have a terrible whole year.… Continued →

Our friends in Craig’s Brother are returning in 2020 with a new full length album, their first since The Insidious Lie, 8 years ago. This will be their 4th Full length record since they began with their first official national release – “Homecoming”, back in 1998. Craig’s Brother return with their 6th and final song from the Devils In The Details sessions. This song is titled “Forever (The Proposal)” and shows the band in a more subdued moment yet drawing heavy on that emotional connection their music conveys and tugging at the heart strings. We all find that special album, the initial attraction which binds the listener to a band from the get go. For me, that first album “Homecoming” by Craig’s Brother was just that, an alluring piece of work that had me fascinated from day one. Tooth & Nail released this album in 1998, nearly 21 years ago. It wasn’t exactly a “huge” hit but sure did knock us all in the chest with powerful guitar heavy punk rock and harmonies you can’t get out of your head.… Continued →
