Song of the Day: Zach Williams - There Was Jesus vs Old Church Choir

I admit I stopped listening to radio in the late 90s. Most of it was due to the point that Christian radio changed formats. It just seems to have the same exact basic gospel message to every song. We were dead in sin, but God brings us to Him & so we praise Him for that. That is not necessarily a bad thing, but there is more to Christian music than just the same idea. Song of the Day: Gary Chapman - Heal Me

Pulling from my childhood, Gary’s The Light Inside was a constant in my CD player. I know he’s country, but he also rocks w/ Floodgates & other tracks Finally, Sweet Glow of Mercy & album opener Where are the Broken Hearts? are 90s staples. REVIEW : Michael W. Stand - 3 Song Acoustic

I had been patiently awaiting this 3 song acoustic release since it was first announced via Thumper Punk Records. So much about this little ep spells perfection to me. I have been a fan of Mike’s work since as long as I can remember. I first heard “Against The Grain” (Altar Boys) as a mere youngster just discovering what music was like in the 80’s and especially what “Christian” music would mean to me in later years. Mike’s extremely diverse discography over the years with everything from Altar Boys, solo work, Clash Of Symbols, Altar Billies, and now this new rockabilly-acoustic leaning release, is nothing short of extraordinary and dare I say, LEGENDARY.… Continued →
