Wolves At The Gate "Lost In Translation" Out Now!

I wasn’t expecting to enjoy this new Wolves At The Gate covers album titled “Lost In Translation” but I sure do. It’s really done with the best production and sound you can get. Their take on many of these classic songs is nothing short of extraordinary. I’d go as far to say that some of these songs have been reinvented with a new fervor courtesy of Wolves At The Gate. I was expecting the Jimmy Eat World cover for “Sweetness” to pale in comparison to the real thing but surprisingly it’s the complete opposite and same goes for “The Pretender”, “Pardon Me”, “Heathens”, and “Breaking the Habit”.… Continued →

Seeking "Cover Songs" by Christian Artists for New Playlist on Spotify

I am sending this post out there into the webiverse to gather songs for a new spotify playlist I just created. It is (tentatively) being called “The Best Christian Cover Songs” and is a play off Christians who cover popular (and not so popular) songs. Please list artist name covering a song and song title below this post in the comments section so I can take your suggestions and add them. What you see now on Spotify is just me recalling stuff off the top of my head.… Continued →

Brave New World

INTERVIEW : Interview with Parker Boles of Brave New World

Indie Vision Music: Tell me a bit about your music. What’s it called, what style is it, when you’ll be releasing some material? It’s pretty broad but should get the conversation going. Parker Boles: My music is a blend of post-hardcore, emo, and pop-punk, mixed in with some blues. The first material I’ll be releasing will be mostly covers, and the album that I am working on is 11 covers and one original, titled “Horizon To Horizon”.
