Song of the Day: The Beautiful Mistake - On Building

California’s The Beautiful Mistake is one of my faves from The Militia Group label which sports greats such as The Rocket Summer (whom I’ve seen live!), Copeland, Brandtson (whom I’ve also seen live!) & Acceptance, just to name a few. Their most recent 2020 release, EP You’re Not Broken, I Am, continued the post hardcore/emo trend they became known for. They have played a few Christian fests including TomFest back in 2002. Introducing: Voyagers (Post Hardcore From Washington State)

The spotlight should shine brightly on this new band called Voyagers out of Washington state. The band just released their debut single titled “No Consequence” (through bandcamp for name your price) and it is a refreshing take on the post-hardcore/indie rock genre. Smooth vocals that aren’t off tune, well placed bass, guitars, and percussion. I’m loving the bass heavy sound (at least on my stereo) and I feel these guys have a lot to say through their music and a sound that will keep them ahead of the pack.… Continued →

Introducing: ENDXS (London, UK)

I’d like to take a minute to introduce our readers to a new post-hardcore band out of London, UK called “ENDXS”. They play a melodic blend of Post-Hardcore that brings up memories of some great bands that came before like Funeral for a Friend, Saosin, and Senses Fail while incorporating modern elements to keep it fresh.
