DENS - Foolish (Tamed Tongues Sessions)

DENS released an absolutely stunning reworking of their 2020 full length, “Taming Tongues”, and re-released it as “Tamed Tongues” earlier this year. As you may have guessed, this too would further cement the band’s place among among some of the best bands in the music scene today. “Diverse” doesn’t even begin to tell the whole, complete story. You really have to experience all 4 of the band releases to understand the complexities, the melodies, the words, the worship, and the heart beat that keeps this band spinning.… Continued →

I just caught on to this project recently and was excited to learn of the “Homegrown” connection. I enjoyed albums like “Act Your Age” and “Kings of Pop” as well as their final ep. You can check out The Bridge (Church) out of Rancho Santa Margarita, CA.… Continued →

Kelly Nunn Releases New Worship Ep "All Rise Up"

Kelly Nunn who has been a touring member with groups like Further Seems Forever, Maylene & The Sons of Disaster, and Underoath (among many other bands), has just released his new 7 song ep titled “All Rise Up”. This ep is beautiful and low key worship music perfect for not only Sunday mornings but any day of the week. Oh, Eternity Release Brand New Full Length "I Exist"

You all need to give this new release from rising indie pop-rock band Oh, Eternity a chance. It’s an insanely awesome album filled with unforgettable melodies, vocals you can sing along with, and just enough “pop” where it’s not too overbearing. So many influences shine through on this release but if you were to make comparisons I’d say imagine a combination of Academy Is.., Plain White Ts, Edison Glass, Hearts Like Lions, My Epic, and Walk the Moon. It’s a diverse set of songs and an album I’m sure that many of you would welcome into your stereos.… Continued →

Young Oceans to Release Epic New Album October 20th

I have been privileged enough that I get to give the new Young Oceans record a listen. The album titled “Suddenly (Or The Nuclear Sunburst of the Truth Revealed)”, is a haunting trip through new wave instrumentation and worship centered musical adventure. The songs which remind me somewhat of a melting of styles, imagine The Killers meets The Decemberists and Death Cab For Cutie meets Cool Hand Luke at an intersection with the passing of Rend Collective. The weirdest comparison I can make is that I even hear a sliver of Chris Isaac.… Continued →
