A word document popped up in my Dropbox while I was searching for old files. It showed that the tentative line up for the “I’m Your Biggest Fan 2” compilation that I assembled for Tooth & Nail Records on March 11th 2002, 21 years ago. A couple bands had to be swapped for a couple reasons but the final lineup is pretty close to what I had planned out. I have created a little collage video with a couple song samples from the compilation through YouTube which you can view below.… Continued →

Letter Kills Creates Quite the Buzz
Letter Kills which were a emo-indie-pop-punk band from the early 00’s that dropped some independent songs, signed to Island Records, released a huge sounding record called “The Bridge”, played around the country for a few years then just disappeared as quickly as they appeared. Lead Vocalist Matt Shelton went on to record with The Wedding as well some great solo songs and recently formed “Panther City Riots“. As a band they were strong and their delivery was just as good as ANY other band at that time.… Continued →

Indie Vision Music is proud to premiere the Lyric Video for the brand new track “Florida” from the midwest Indie-Pop-Rock act – Names Without Numbers. The song is titled “Florida” and is their most hotly anticipated new song, a track that sets them apart from the sameness and a rise above the generic. This is simply put, great music and THE perfect introduction to a band know for their soaring melodies and emotional storytelling. Indie Vision Music Most Wanted Band Reunions of 2023
Merry Christmas, Friends! I’m going to type up some thoughts on bands that should most definitely reunite in 2023 to 1) Play an anniversary set, 2) Re-Release a classic album on either vinyl, tape, or cd with bonus features (and band commentary) and 3) Throw some new and/or unreleased tracks at us that we most definitely need to hear. Thoughts and ideas can be found below…. Oh, and Tim Taber if you’re reading this, I hope you’ll consider the words below and incorporate them into future plans with Transparent Productions here in Orange County and Southern California in general.… Continued →

Names Without Numbers - New Song "Florida" Coming Soon
Names Without Numbers are back in a big way on January 13th. Their new song “Florida” will drop on that date and we have a little teaser to offer all of you. This is without a doubt the band’s strongest song to date and further reminds me of just how good they are, not just in regards to indie music but rock n roll as a whole. There is a lot of content floating around out there passing off as legitimate music but really lacks the meat and substance.… Continued →

Song of the Day: EveReady - Live Completely
I apologize in advance, but here is a very obscure band that I found through an old Christian online radio station playlist. Wish I had more, but from what I gather their only other song was called For What’s It’s Worth. This song is pretty catchy imho. Maybe someone someday reading this will know more about them than I do. I don’t even know if their name is spelled right.

Names Without Numbers "Florida" Coming Soon
Names Without Numbers will return very soon with yet another incredible and a “built for radio” sound that they’ve become world renown for. I can’t promise it’ll sound exactly like that but I’m just going off past experiences and knowing this band actually has talent and experience to back up the hype. If I were to guess I’d say this will be absolute perfection, like if I had to guess and all. If you want to buy some Merch from the band direct then click here for their personally run store.… Continued →

Song of the Day: Forever Moon - Refined
Forever Moon was a modern rock band that released an EP & full length before disbanding from what I gather. I bought the EP, but now it runs for around $100 from what I’ve seen. They were reminiscent of the early 2000s era that “Christian” rock stations played on edgier stations with rock shows. Win You Over was their other main song.

Song of the Day: Dodavahu - Mountain
Dodavahu reminds many of the funk groovy alt-rock of DighayZoose, Jane’s Addiction, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Primus vein. I can see a little why as they remind me of Elder & a few others from the early 90s alt rock daze. Their stuff can be hard to find , but appears a band member added some to his SoundCloud page. Look for Larry Larraga. They are also on a hard to find compilation from Dwarf Records called Sam which I have been looking for years. Check em out.… Continued →

Song of the Day: Eden Regained - Patient
This band seems to hearken from Newark, Ohio & this song was from their last release Ascension. They seem to have a post hardcore sound along w/ maybe nu-metal as you can hear some scratching. This is the only song that I know of that found its way onto indie “Christian” radio as I saw on a online chart a few times. hope y’all dig it.

Orion Walsh Delivers "Home to You"
Orion Wash who is a prolific singer-songwriter that has been pushing his delightful “solo” work for nearly 2 decades ever since the demise of the beloved emo/indie band – Slow Coming Day. While Slow Coming Day gears up for some reunion gigs in celebration of the 20th anniversary of “Farewell to the Familiar” which released on Tooth & Nail Records all the back in 2003, Orion is smack dab back in what he is admired for, as a creator of music that defies genre classifications.… Continued →
Song of the Day: Prescription - Reason For This Rime
It was pretty hard to find this LP over the years. Finally tracked down a copy on Ebay If I remember quickly. They fall within the alt/nu metal/rapcore genre. They had another LP on CDBaby back in the day also. Anyways, check out Lately I’ve Noticed also. Appears they were from Cali. They remind me a lot of E-So whom I am still looking for their song The Game.

Song of the Day: The Fall of Leviathan - Jesus Didn't Live the American Dream
Good luck on finding much on this rarity. I believe from what I remember they were featured on Radiou’s metal show many years ago. They seem to be of an early metalcore/deathcore variety & were from Reno, Nevada. Their Myspace page has them going to Joshuafest back in 2010 & ReverbNation has a demo of another of their songs. This song’s lyrics sounds to be close to a worship song as you can hear them screaming He died for us circa the 1:30 mark & some spoken circa the 3:15 mark.… Continued →

Song of the Day: TheCellExperiment - The Prize
This industrial artist Chris Cummings has gone by a myriad of names over the years of whom you can hear more of his stuff through Bandcamp. I have always liked this one, but it was long lost from a comp cd I made when mp3.com went away. Anyways, forgot about it over the years & found 3 cds of his on Ebay recently. Was listening to his nostalgic stuff when one jumped at me & I realized this was the song I had lost circa 20 years ago!… Continued →

Owl City which is the project of musician extraordinaire Adam Young, has been dropping hints for several months about future plans. I missed posting this last month but new music is coming soon. Check out a fun lyric video for their classic song “Pages Yet to Be Written” and also take a look at cool flyer as well.
