Greg Minier, the talented guitarist from thrash metal legends – The Crucified, is back with his Applehead project and just dropped his first new song in nearly 3 decades titled “Down”. This is great stuff and brings to mind some classic 90’s hard rock music. Reminds me of Alice In Chains meets Velvet Revolver, Guns n’ Roses, STP, and Soundgarden. Even a little Mammoth WVH. I’m telling you, 2023 is going to be an EPIC year for band reunions, I just know it. The next band to announce a return is WITH BLOOD COMES CLEANSING. They have launched an Instagram account under @wbccofficial and are teasing some live shows in 2023. They also have pressed their classic album “Golgotha” on Vinyl in honor of its 15th anniversary and well, it sold out in under 5 minutes!! Wow! It is with a heavy heart and coming seemingly from a never ending stream of bad news of late, that we report the passing of Ted Kirkpatrick who has become the face and man behind the legendary metal band – Tourniquet. Ted Kirkpatrick was a founding member of the long running band, drummer, songwriter, animal rights supporter, thinker, seeker, and a man of God. Ted passed from IPF, Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis which is a rare and terminal lung disease. While it is certainly tragic especially amongst news of several other recent Christian musician deaths, we know that Ted has gone home to be with the Lord where he is jamming with Michael Bloodgood, Keith Green, Rich Mullins, Gene Eugene, Larry Norman, Kaleb Luebchow, and so many others gone too soon.… Continued →

After 14 years, “When Angels & Serpents Dance” is finally getting the release treatment it should have always gotten. This is a favorite P.O.D. album of mine next to their other big hits like Fundamental, Satellite, Testify, etc. This album had a very commercial sound and had that “hit” potential but for whatever reason, disappeared to the piles of thrift store dust bins.
