Dallas Taylor and the boys in Maylene And The Sons of Disaster have surprised everyone by posting some info regarding new music and a music video that will drop soon. According to sources here and here, there is even a pic of Dallas Taylor with former Underoath bassist/guitarist, Octavio Fernandez. No exact word yet on when this new music video (or new music itself) will drop, but we will try and keep you updated. This is my 25th anniversary tribute to albums that released during the year of 1996 (and/or presumed to have released during this particular year). It was a monumental year in underground, indie music and one that was ignited by artists sharing a similar Christian Faith. While the rest of the world was consuming their Michael W Smith, or Newsboys, Audio Adrenaline, DC Talk, Amy Grant, Rebecca St. James, Jars of Clay, or even that guy who wrote the Butterfly Kisses song, we on the indie circuit side of things were rejoicing with a newfound optimism.… Continued →

Testimony of Apocalypse are an insane new metal band featuring members of classic Thrash Metal band, Sacrament. While members of Sacrament await their potential reunion in the future, a couple members got together and have pursued this really great new project called Testimony of Apocalypse, which is actually named after the Sacrament album of the same name. Wage War hit the metalcore scene with a ferocity in 2015 with the release of their debut album, “Blueprints”. Prior to this, they were known as Empires and had an ep called “The Fall of Kings” which is quite impressive! The first two albums, “Blueprints” and “Deadweight” were very well received by fans of the genre, however the third, “Pressure”, which was released a little over 2yrs ago, had something of a mixed reception. Theocracy I believe are quite possibly one of the strongest modern metal bands alive, fight me! This lesser known but still extremely talented and gut wrenching band, are working on a new album which would be their first in more than 5 years.
