Do you like to sometimes sit back and throw on some reaction videos on YouTube, seeing how others enjoy (or sometimes don’t) some of the same music you listen to? A favorite of mine that I check out often, is D-Gibby. He has some really great reactions to music I enjoy listening to, both Christian and secular alike.
Recently, D-Gibby has begun to do something he’s calling “Soulful Sundays”, which feature reactions to Christian bands and artists. This past week he covered Skillet, P.O.D., and RED.… Continued →

Song of the Day: Extol - Inferno
I listen to metal rather sparingly, but I love this song. When 1:10 kicks in, I feel like I’ve been transported to medieval times, and it makes me feel freaking epic. The drums sound like horses trotting while they pull their chariots, and the guitars bring to mind knights battling under a glow of flames. Rumor has it that drummer David Husvik recorded his parts without using a click track (but don’t quote me on that). While Extol’s most recent album was released in 2013, members of the band have been involved in other projects like Azusa, Fleshkiller, and Mantric.… Continued →

Introducing: AsFireFalls
Dont ask how I came to find these guys, because the truth is, I still have no idea. Nevertheless there were certain things said if them that drew my interest and I was happy it did.
AsFireFalls is a hard rock/techno/metal band from Boise, Idaho. The 4-piece is currently independent, but strike me as the type that could get snapped up by a fortunate label out there somewhere. So, look em up on Facebook, spotify, amazon, Instagram…whichever social media site we’re all clamoring off to these days and follow em.… Continued →

The month started off a pair of new singles from Sweden. After 8 years of silence, Blindside returned with a new song titled “Gravedigger” and Narnia dropped their second single off their upcoming album From Darkness to Light due out August 2nd.… Continued →
