My friends in Light The Way return with another music video from their critically acclaimed new album “Expel”, and this track is titled “As If You Could Outrun Me”. This new record is the absolute best thing the band has ever done up until now. I was going to write a review but that will have to wait and instead they will be featured heavily, like high up, towering above, near the tippy top, for Brandon’s very own, “Best of 2024 List” coming soon to a (touch)screen near you!… Continued →
Introducing: Allison Eide
Today’s new music introduction is in a slightly different direction than the standard heavy music fare IVM is well regarded for, but this artist is certainly deserving of exposure and interest. Our music introduction post today is for an artist by the name of Allison Eide. Allison has been making music for a couple years and recently exploded in views and has become somewhat of a viral sensation through her uncompromising lyrics and creative take on pop music from a Christian viewpoint. Give a couple of her newer songs a listen below especially her hit track “Liar (Truth Is)”.… Continued →

Well, Resuscitation Records is now releasing the EP on a special 180 Gram Vinyl that you can pre-order right here. Introducing: FYR FYTR
Today’s introduction is of the project “FYR FYTR” (Fire Fighter). Introspective and passionate indie rock with an almost post-hardcore like influence, that Faith connection and a strong emphasis on emotions. I ran across this band a few weeks ago through a sponsored ad and instantly fell in the love with the music. I’m slow with news so it took me a little while to write this post. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. FYR FYTR just released a new song at the beginning of November titled “So Simple”.… Continued →

The band just released their new EP “Paper Catches Fire” and they want you all to give them a listen. I think a lot of old 90’s alt rock fans alongside all the latest and greatest from the past 20 years or so of modern music making will find something to appreciate in the music of Padover.… Continued →

Light The Way "Expel" Out Now + Lyric and Audio Videos
So, Light The Way dropped what many consider to be the best album of their careers back on Friday, “Expel”. The album is a no holds barred, action packed, passionate and altogether adrenaline charged love letter to the lost, lonely, and broken hearted. There truly is something for everyone in these songs and in these powerful lyrics. Not only is there fun and light hearted tongue in cheek humor, but there is also serious subject matter and a cry out to God to deliver us from our brokenness and our despair.… Continued →

Orion Walsh Releases "Walking Through The Forest"
Orion Walsh’s return to the music scene with “Walking Through The Forest” promises a soul-stirring experience, celebrating one of the most compelling albums of his career and absolute personal favorite of mine. Releasing on October 31, 2024, via Fair Vaux, Walsh’s 7th studio album takes listeners on an introspective journey, blending lo-fi folk and emo undertones into a deeply evocative collection. Walsh, a celebrated singer-songwriter from Lincoln, Nebraska, draws on vivid, nostalgic imagery, crafted over a 6 week tour across the UK and Europe to reflect on life’s cyclic journey of breaking and healing.… Continued →

Too Bad Eugene Release New Song and Music Video for "Unacceptable"

Introducing: Lo Cloud
It’s time for a new band introduction and today I bring you “Lo Cloud”. Lo Cloud is a new indie band featuring Matt Hammitt formerly of Sanctus Real. The band have dropped their debut single “Sleepwalker” and it is available now! They have a great sound with vocals that soar. Imagine Jimmy Eat World meets Anberlin meets Thirty Seconds to Mars meets Plankeye and Switchfoot. It’s a unique sound with somewhat of a 90’s rock undercurrent mixed in with all the modern sounds. It’s really good stuff and I think a bunch of our readers will appreciate the sound of Lo Cloud.… Continued →

Too Bad Eugene - Astronomical Ft. Mercy Nigh (Official Music Video)
Check out this beautiful and sentimental new music video from Santa Cruz, CA. based pop-punk band – Too Bad Eugene. The track is “Astronomical” and features frontman Adam Nigh’s daughter Mercy Nigh. It’s a sweet video and done well, showing the connection between father and daughter much like the song itself. The song is off the band’s most recent album, “Battle Scars” (People of Punk Rock Records). As a bonus, I spy an Indie Vision Music Tshirt on a member. Do you see it? Which member?… Continued →

The EP release the majority of us who’ve following this band have been waiting for, is finally here! Names Without Numbers which is a personal favorite band of mine (like you couldn’t tell), are releasing the best music they’ve ever done and even though it’s just an ep, these songs add a extra punch to an already glowing display of music in their two decades long career as a band. The depth of writing, the production, the variety in sounds on these songs are nothing short of extraordinary.… Continued →
