Last October, Rockfest Records announced a new band on their roster, but not just any band. World Gone Cold is a hard rock band known as a “supergroup”. In case you’re unfamiliar with the term, this indicates that the group is comprised of artists from other well-known bands. It’ll sound amazing regardless but the other colors are also killer. After 14 years, “When Angels & Serpents Dance” is finally getting the release treatment it should have always gotten. This is a favorite P.O.D. album of mine next to their other big hits like Fundamental, Satellite, Testify, etc. This album had a very commercial sound and had that “hit” potential but for whatever reason, disappeared to the piles of thrift store dust bins. Islander has some cool songs. They are also known for having an interesting stage presence, what with JR Bareis and his costumes. Well for Islander’s new video for their song “Better Day”, it seems to be Vocalist Mikey Carvajal this time, with his cheetah print sleeves. But not to make that the point of this, the song is very uplifting and pleasant. It reminds me personally of some P.O.D.’s more uplifting songs.
