Poor Old Lu Straight Six Kickstarter Vinyl Campaign

Poor Old Lu have just announced that they are starting a kickstarter in mid-July, on the 15th to be exact, for the vinyl pressing of their classic album “Straight Six”. The album has been completely remastered and will be available on vinyl for the very first time EVER! They will have a couple “stretch goals” with some pretty amazing bonuses so you’ll want to check all that out. Introducing: Bright and Harrowing

A new band has just burst on to the scene. I got word of this on social media today and thought I’d share. Scott Hunter (Poor Old Lu singer), Jesse Sprinkle (Poor Old Lu/Demon Hunter/Dead Poetic and tons others), Kurt Schmidt, and Anthony Carvalho have all teamed up under the name “Bright and Harrowing“. 25 years of Starflyer 59! (over a dozen contributors)

Poor Old Lu "Mindsize" Gets The Vinyl Re-release Treatment

An amazing album titled “Mindsize” from Washington state based alternative rock band – Poor Old Lu, is getting pressed again on Vinyl and available in several different options/colors. Also on CD. The remastered deluxe edition will be available next year and you can pre-order via kickstarter right here. Lo-Fidelity Records is putting this out. This is the band that the Sprinkle brothers originated from of which have gone on to bigger and brighter things over the past few decades. Today’s Video Flashback comes from the Alt-Rock band, Poor Old Lu, which released several (awesome) albums in the early to late 90’s on Alarma Records. The band attempted a short lived come back of sorts in 2002 with their Tooth & Nail album “The Waiting Room”.
