Introducing: Lost Things
Hailing for Sacramento, Lost Things has emerged to play some fresh post-rock/hardcore. These guys have songs that span influences from Being as an Ocean and Oh Sleeper to Jesus Culture (Consumed-era) and Emery, maybe with a slight Take It Back! influence in the faster songs. The album artwork seems to allude to a highly political punk attitude however the lyrics convey a message of seeking truth and dealing with personal problems.

Hands - The Sounds of Earth (Playlist)
The band Hands first formed back in 2007, releasing a couple of “Demos” of which I was a strong supporter of. Their songs even appeared on a few of our early digital compilations. Airy guitars, soothing piano, and a strong knack for minimalist composition make for a great listening experience on Jon Carolino's On New Horizons EP.
REVIEW : The Prevailing - K. Gautier
K. Gautier's first album shows promise and skill but falls victim to feeling dichotomous and simply too long.

Brian McSweeney, former lead vocalist and songwriter for the alternative band Seven Day Jesus, has released a new “solo” record titled “As The Bluebird” which you can find over on NoiseTrade below. This collection of songs borders on the experimental and yet entices you into a somber relaxation. A definite “kick-back and watch the winter weather roll in type of record”. Definitely an enjoyable listen. Imagine Brian Wilson collaborating with Starflyer 59, Gotye and Radiohead then you might have an idea for the sounds. [Facebook]
