Chasing Victory's first material in almost 11 years showcases a powerful mix of post-hardcore and southern rock that's full of grit and energy.

David has announced an end to the much loved and adored Christian punk rock label, Thumper Punk Records. He started it as a music site in 2008 and we all watched it grow as a record label the past 10 years. Him and his label will be sorely missed but we commend him for wanting to devote more time to his family. It’s tough in this scene and I know exactly how he feel coming from my perspective. With my experience the past 18 years I can tell you honestly that I have thrown in the towel a few times, wanted to a few more times, and have been battling personal doubts about my work even more times.… Continued →

With all these new reunions fresh in our minds and the rivers of nostalgia running deep, it was only time before the mighty Squad 5-0 came back and dropped a new album on us. According to the band’s official Instagram page (sorry I’m not aware of any Facebook pages that are current), they may be working on a new album and teased with like 1 second guitar clip. Between finding newer bands, the resurgence of others from years of inaction, and great albums from bands we’ve come to love and depend on for great music, it was pretty tough to be disappointed.
