Nate Parrish is about to unleash album #2 in just 2 short weeks from today. Saint Didacus which features Josh Kemble and Danny Montoya of Dogwood, along with Joe Nixon of Slick Shoes on Drums, and Mike Wright on Guitars, just released a brand new song for 2022 titled “This Was All.”. Not his real name, of course–the man David Villalpando was a legend in the underground scene. Sadly, the man that many called a friend passed away this week from covid-related illness. It was a monumental year in underground, indie music and one that was ignited by artists sharing a similar Christian Faith. Ghoti Hook was a fun Virginian punk band that came out the same time Value Pac did from what I remember. My friend from high school & I had certain faves. I liked The Insyderz & he liked the O.C.
