Nate Parrish just dropped a music video for his emotional and inspirational new rock ballad, “Small”. I’ve heard it described as somewhere between Sam Raimi and Wes Anderson but I definitely see some Michael Bay. Seth Davey, formerly of Attalus, has released a new song, “When My Mind Runs Back”. The piano driven track speaks of how God remains faithful even in the midst of all our distractions, misgivings, when we act out, etc. He is always there, eager to welcome us back onto the right track whenever we go astray. Sometimes these older bands reunite only to put out music that isn’t as endearing, fresh, or honoring the past while embracing the future but The Myriad does all of the above and more. Their music is refreshing and cathartic. I can’t help but feel enthralled by each and every “new” song they release and have released over the past year or so. I would go out on a limb and say that this new stuff blows away anything they’d done prior, years in the past. Beautiful stuff and really catchy in a somber, soothing manner. Newly signed to Fair Vaux Records, the duo known as Gypsy & Me have just dropped their 2nd new single for 2024 and this one is one heck of an emotional whirlwind. It’s time for a new band introduction and today I bring you “Lo Cloud”. Lo Cloud is a new indie band featuring Matt Hammitt formerly of Sanctus Real. The band have dropped their debut single “Sleepwalker” and it is available now! They have a great sound with vocals that soar. Imagine Jimmy Eat World meets Anberlin meets Thirty Seconds to Mars meets Plankeye and Switchfoot. It’s a unique sound with somewhat of a 90’s rock undercurrent mixed in with all the modern sounds.
