Names Without Numbers Drop New Album December 13th via Indie Vision Music
I am proud (and excited) to announce the new album from Names Without Numbers titled “Silos & Smokestacks” due out December 13th through Indie Vision Music. I have listened to the album many times through and I must say it is an incredible piece of work. I don’t just say that lightly as someone working with a band, I say that as a fan of music and great independent rock n’ roll that I can get behind. Take all the best elements of old Anberlin, Jimmy Eat World, The All American Rejects, Acceptance, The Juliana Theory, Eager Seas, and House of Heroes, mix it up with the best produced sound (and guitar tones) one can have then you’ll have an idea for what to expect.… Continued →

Song of the Day: Spoken - Falling Further
Some music videos deserve to be shared, even if they’re only 144p. “Falling Further” by Spoken tells a story of prodigality, placing emphasis on feelings of regret and the rejection of God’s love. While the band has a lot of great songs, I always thought the chorus for “Falling Further” was particularly strong in its emotional communication.… Continued →

Song of the Day: Terminal - Not All Bad
Since it’s snowing today, I feel like this Monday deserves an emo song (it’s not even Halloween yet!). “Not All Bad” is one of the more hopeful Terminal tracks, with its bright guitar strums and lyrics that fight against self-deprecation and apathy. Maybe if the snow doesn’t let up, I’ll blare this song outside and try to melt it with some musical positivity?… Continued →

White Collar Sideshow - Break On Through (To the Other Side) (Video In Post)
Yet to disappoint, White Collar Sideshow has dropped a new video this past week for their cover of The Doors track, “Break On Through (To the Other Side)”. Song of the Day: Ana Sapphira - Rain Song
Rarely do I hear music and feel as though I was meant to hear it. However common it is to hear good songs, bad songs, and even very impressive ones, a lot of music doesn’t strike me as having significance beyond random chance. Earlier this month though, there was a day when I was listening to “Rain Song” by Ana Sapphira over and over. I decided to visit their Facebook page shortly after, and sadly, it looks like the band broke up last year. I first heard “Rain Song” in a HeartSupport video featuring lead singer Jonathan Lamper, which I will also include below.… Continued →
