Stephen Christian - Awaken (New Song)

Stephen Christian releases his 2nd new song titled “Awaken” off the upcoming album, “Spirited”, due out on BEC Recordings soon. Some people may not like the straight up worship oriented music of his solo work but as long time Anberlin fan (and Stephen Christian vocals fan), I love it. Hopeful and positive music that is much needed during this prolonged period of darkness our world is experiencing. Song can be found below or on your favorite digital network.… Continued →

Stephen Christian Releases New Song "Trust" As Part of Pre-Order

Stephen Christian (Ex-Anberlin) has released an epic new anthem titled “Trust” that is rich in texture and a sonic powerhouse. This new wave influenced pop worship song is sure to make a fan out of anyone who loves Stephen’s unique one of a kind voice and lyrical boldness. I’d much rather listen to this new “Wildfires” album than the majority of stuff on Christian radio (sorry Christian radio CCM fans). Before you throw out the “cheesy” remarks or hipster dissatisfaction just realize that Stephen along with Anberlin, paved the way for so many bands to pick up their guitars, bass, and drums.… Continued →

Anberlin to (Possibly) Press Vinyl Box Set One More Time

Anberlin which broke up in 2014, has stayed relatively busy behind the scenes with producing an incredible (that I wished I owned) Vinyl box set featuring all 7 full length releases along with a coffee table book. As was expected, the vinyl box set sold out a few months after going on sale, all 1000 copies sold out. Sellers across third party sites are marking these things up double and triple from what they originally went on sale at. It’s crazy. I waited too late personally and due to unforeseen circumstances wasn’t able to purchase when it was on sale.… Continued →

Stephen Christian (Anberlin) Records Debut "Solo" Album

Stephen Christian (Ex-Anberlin/Anchor & Braille) has begun recording his debut “solo” record for BEC Recordings with a release date planned in 1st quarter 2017. I have been listening to Anberlin this past week and realized what a truly great band they once were. I weep when I realize Anberlin is no longer with us as a band but at least we have their recorded music to remember them by. The band also began shipping their retrospective discography on vinyl last week.… Continued →
